Christy is the Program Manager for the Pershing Square Sohn Cancer Research Alliance. She is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Pershing Square Sohn Prize for Young Investigators in Cancer Research and also supports all of The Pershing Square Foundation’s science-related grants and programming. Christy came to the Foundation from Shizuoka City, Japan, where she promoted international understanding and communication as a participant in the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program. Prior to the JET Program, Christy worked in the Development Office at The Rockefeller University, a world-renowned center for scientific research and graduate education, where she assisted in all aspects of the nonprofit fundraising initiatives Women & Science and Parents & Science. As a recent college graduate, Christy worked in the laboratory of Dr. Abigail A. Baird, Professor of Psychological Science at Vassar College.
Christy graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Vassar College in 2011 with a B.A. in Psychology and Japanese.
