Co-Founder, The Sohn Conference Foundation
Evan Sohn has been a dedicated and energetic advocate of a cure for pediatric cancer for more than 20 years. While building a career growing and advising businesses in the technology sector, Evan co-founded the Ira Sohn Conference Foundation in honor of his brother. The Foundation has funded $70 million in cancer research and ranks among the top ten charities consistently giving to pediatric cancer in the tri-state area. The Foundation produces the Ira Sohn Conference every May at Lincoln Center in New York, with sister events in Canada, Hong Kong, India, London, San Francisco and Tel Aviv. The Conference showcases the best ideas in the Hedge Fund world. The Foundation then funds and seeds the most innovative and impactful initiatives that will create pathways for the future leaders and solutions in the field of pediatric cancer using a four pillared approach; inspire, invest, develop and promote.
A graduate of NYU Stern School of Business, Evan is involved in a number of technology companies and on the Board of the Day School he went to as a child. Evan resides in Englewood, New Jersey with his wife Michelle and 3 children.
