On Wednesday, June 8 the Pershing Square Sohn Cancer Research Alliance held its 2022 Prize Dinner at Bar65 at the Rainbow Room in New York, awarding its 2022 Pershing Square Sohn Prize for Young Investigators in Cancer Research to seven talented early-career researchers in the greater New York City area.
On Tuesday, October 19th, 2021, the Pershing Square Sohn Cancer Research Alliance held its Fifth Annual Pershing Square Sohn Retreat at the Simons Foundation in Manhattan, New York, featuring the 2018 Prize winners.

Five Pershing Square Sohn Prize winners, two Scientific Review Council members, and six Foundation partners attended this year’s Forum at the Alexandria Center for Life Science in New York City, among other guests which included individuals from academia, industry, and business. The event featured talks by executives from the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical industries, as well as top academics and government representatives. Following the Forum, select guests were invited to attend the Prix Galien Awards Ceremony at the American Museum of Natural History.

On Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019 the Pershing Square Sohn Cancer Research Alliance held its Third Annual Pershing Square Sohn Retreat in Nicholls-Biondi Hall at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in Long Island, featuring the 2016 Prize winners.
On Wednesday, May 22nd, the Pershing Square Sohn Cancer Research Alliance held its Sixth Annual Prize Dinner at the Consulate General of France in New York, awarding its 2019 Pershing Square Sohn Prize for Young Investigators in Cancer Research to seven pioneering early-career researchers in New York City.

Four Pershing Square Sohn Prize winners and two Scientific Review Council members attended this year’s Galien Forum at the Alexandria Center for Life Science in New York City, among other guests which included individuals from life science foundations, academia, industry, and business. The event featured talks by executives from the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical industries, as well as top academics and government representatives. Following the Forum, PSSCRA's Executive Director, a Scientific Review Council member, and a Prize winner were invited to attend the Prix Galien Awards Ceremony at the American Museum of Natural History.

At The Rockefeller University's 2018 Women & Science Spring Lecture and Luncheon, 2014 Prize winner Dr. Agata Smogorzewska, a physician-scientist at The Rockefeller University, discussed how new discoveries are fueling the development of innovative cancer therapies, including some that precisely target an individual’s tumor cells by exploiting the cells’ own defects in DNA repair. Some of the work presented was supported by the Pershing Square Sohn Cancer Research Alliance.
