On Wednesday, May 23rd, the Pershing Square Sohn Cancer Research Alliance held its Fifth Annual Prize Dinner at the Park Avenue Armory, awarding its 2018 Pershing Square Sohn Prize for Young Investigators in Cancer Research to seven exceptional groundbreaking scientists in New York City.
At The Rockefeller University's 2018 Women & Science Spring Lecture and Luncheon, 2014 Prize winner Dr. Agata Smogorzewska, a physician-scientist at The Rockefeller University, discussed how new discoveries are fueling the development of innovative cancer therapies, including some that precisely target an individual’s tumor cells by exploiting the cells’ own defects in DNA repair. Some of the work presented was supported by the Pershing Square Sohn Cancer Research Alliance.
On Wednesday, March 8th, 2017 the Pershing Square Sohn Cancer Research Alliance held its inaugural Pershing Square Sohn Annual Retreat at the New York Academy of Sciences.
On Wednesday, May 25th, the Pershing Square Research Alliance held its third annual dinner at the Park Avenue Armory, awarding its 2016 Prize in Cancer Research to seven exceptional innovative scientists in New York City.
On Thursday, May 7th, the Pershing Square Research Alliance held its second annual dinner at the Park Avenue Armory, awarding its 2015 Prize in Cancer Research to six exceptional innovative scientists in New York City.
The Pershing Square Sohn Cancer Research Alliance recently sponsored a panel entitled, “Pioneers for a Cure: the Role of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Cancer Research” at the 5th Annual Galien Forum.
